There's no better place than the sidewalk, every alley and the train-stations for trash. Whilst in New York City, get used to refuse all around you. But watch out for puddles, lest your life wind up waste, too.
New Yorkers are used to gunk in their gutters. While looking for yourself in this bustling metropolis, you must learn to avoid or embrace trash. Unlike other cities, New Yorkers leave it out every day in random places — it's just part of the hostile charm!
New York is a rush. Everyone is in a rush and they're rushing around in a hurry. If you're not rushing with them you could be trampled.
It's true, New Yorkers have a pep in their step. If you choose to quest in New York, remember that you'll need pep.
New York City's subway used to be a shining star. Today it's customary to complain about the subway and talk about dreading the station closures, heat, flooding and tardiness. At first I thought transit was great, and I didn't realize that it was supposed to be something we talked about.
Every New Yorker should heed this important advice!
An important part of my quest and discovery was returning to the place I left frequently. It was good to see my friends and remember that they were real and not imaginary.
It's true — questing in New York means you can easily return to some points of origin. But if you can't — don't worry. You will soon.
